NewMind Ministries is a unique program that changes lives. It teaches a series of intentionally tailored methods and principles proven to be effective in healing emotional dysfunction and destructive habits. We help men stuck in addiction, broken marriages, and all kinds of destructive cycles heal and rebuild their lives and legacies.
Having spent 15 years working in behavioral care programs and ministries, we have seen multiple programs and methods that simply do not work. After a season of extreme difficulty our prayers were answered and we found multiple principles and methods that lead people from a place of weakness and fear into healthy trust, personal empowerment, and sustainable life change.
Matt grew up in a missionary family serving in post-war Cambodia and Stephanie was raised in Roanoke. After getting married in 2008 they spent four and a half years doing anti-trafficking work in Thailand before returning to Roanoke. Matt now serves as a chaplain. Stephanie serves trafficking survivors as a residential care specialist and homeschools their four boys.
